Color BurstsThis picture has Color Bursts of pink in it for an example of what Color Bursts are.Step One: On to tool bar, make sure it is set to Gradient ( ) instead of the Paint Bucket. If it is set to the Paint Bucket, then just right click on it to change to Gradient.Step Two: Once the Gradient is selected, choose the Burst Gradient ( ) near the top menu.Step Three: Now where the colors show up, click the arrow next to it and select the second one that has a transparency and one color ( ).Step Four: The color can be changed, just change your foreground color to the color you want and the gradient should change to that color. If not, double click the gradient (the image shown in step 3) and then change the color that way. Step Five: Make a new layer by going to the top menu and choosing Layer>>New>>Layer... Step Six: Check to make sure you still have the gradient selected and the color you want, click on the new layer and drag from one spot to another as to where you want the burst to show. Step Seven: I usually change the blending mode to screen to make it look nicer. You can change it to anything you like, but screen looks best with this. Step Eight: If you would like to have more then one burst, repeat steps 4-7. It's not as hard as people think it is, you just need to know how to work photoshop right and the basics of the program.
